Stories from our Participants

Sharon Ruttan

July 2016

I just wanted to write to let you know how much I am enjoying the tandem biking! I participated in the both training programs at the NCCH centre and loved the fact that being legally blind (VIP) we are now riding outside. The last two session down by Pier 8 at 47 Discovery Drive my pilot Colleen and I rode 30K!! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate in a fun activity that I would not have had the opportunity to do so before.

Shelley Gilbert

July 2016

The smile Shelley had was huge. Due to her indoor riding experience she had no problem moving the bike along the Greater Niagara Circle Route. Her nickname soon became the Speed Demon. After being told many times to slow down during the ride she still had a very hard time removing the big smile on her face.

Our History

Since 2014

The Shelley Gautier Para-Sport Foundation (the "Foundation") is named after, and inspired by, Ms Shelley Gautier, a Canadian world-class para-cyclist.
